• Porcelain veneers are a custom designed thin shell of man made enamel that is permanently bonded to the front surface of the teeth.  The translucent porcelain quality of today’s veneers provides a more natural look than what’s been available in the past.  Regardless of what causes unattractive teeth, veneers can solve many dental issues, including: crooked, worn, discolored, chipped, broken, or poorly shaped teeth.  Dr. Luong and her team will work closely with you to design a new smile that meets your individual desires from “Natural Neutral” to Hollywood White”, and anywhere in between.  The choice is yours and we’re here to help you with that decision.  Our patients have commented time and time again that this is the best thing they’ve ever done for themselves.  We see our patients leaving our office with much more self-confidence and pride in their apperance.  Porcelain veneers closely resemble natural tooth enamel because, much like real tooth enamel, porcelain veneers are translucent. This translucent effect is what gives teeth their luster. Color variations in porcelain veneers can be manipulated, providing patients with bright, natural looking smiles.  In order to have beautiful smile, we change everything from the way we design the smile to the material we use, to how to treat the gum tissues.  It’s truly the frame of the smile.  Because the frame is crooked, the smile doesn’t look right either.
  • Today, the materials are better and stronger than the last 5 years.  The material system we have available is absolutely fabulous, but it doesn’t happen without the lab partner.  The laboratory do the veneers but we design the smiles in the office with our artistic eyes, and we communicate with the laboratory.  The laboratory have to receive those instructions  in our design and they understand how to create the beauty within the smile that we are asking for.  So the relationship between the dentist and the lab is very strong and critical and we can’t do the best cosmetic dentistry in the world without the top quality lab.  So, we have the primer lab in the country.
  • Placing Dental Veneers:
    • Placement of porcelain veneers is one that requires the skill, precision, and artistry of a talented cosmetic dentist. Having your smile made over with veneers usually takes about three office visits. In the first visit, we will first plan your new smile by determining what size, shape, and type of veneers will best complement your smile, face shape, and aesthetic desires. Next, Dr. Luong will carefully prepare the teeth by removing a small amount of enamel to accommodate the veneer. She will then place temporary veneers to protect the teeth while the permanent version is crafted in a dental laboratory. When the permanent veneers are ready, you will return for your third visit to have your permanent veneers placed. This is the final step in your smile transformation, and you can leave the dentist’s office with a brand new, beautiful smile.
