Some of the procedures offered at our office, including extractions and oral surgery, may require use to prescribe medications either before or after the procedure. Any medication we prescribe will be used to either fight/prevent an infection or relieve any post-op pain and discomfort.
Because you will be receiving medication in these situations, it is very important to share your entire medical history-including current prescriptions and other medications- with our office. It is important for us to know which medications you are currently taking in order to avoid allergic reactions and medication combinations that could be detrimental to your health.
