At U9 Dental, we are adamant about following a strict infection control protocol. Whenever we work on improving our patients’ oral health, we always wear gloves, gowns, and masks to ensure everyone’s safety. In addition, all disposable equipment, including needles, scalpel blades, gloves, and drapes, are thrown away after each patient visit. All hand instruments that we use on our patients will be thoroughly washed and sterilized and/or disinfected after each use.
Our office has found that the easiest and most effective way to prevent disease transmission is to wash our hands often. We thoroughly wash our hands when we come into the office, before and after using gloves, and after touching anything that could be contaminated.
